West Bengal Congress seeks high command nod for dialogue with Indian Secular Front for poll alliance
Senior state Congress leader Abdul Mannan in a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi said he has already started 'unofficial dialogue' with ISF.
Dhankhar said that during the meeting, the senior Congress leader deprecated alleged politically inspired police postings and stressed the need for fair elections.
The meeting will be attended by Bengal Congress incharge Jitin Prasada, State chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and Congress legislature party leader Abdul Mannan also expected to join.
A mega rally will be organised in Kolkata, while similar programmes will also be held in the other districts, according to a statement issued by the two parties.
