The police officer, apart from TMC youth wing leader Vinay Mishra's brother Vikas Mishra, was arrested by the ED in a case which has local trader Anup Majhi alias Lala as the prime suspect.

The court issued summons against Abhishek Banerjee directing him to appear before the court in the matter on May 1.

The reactions came after the CBI had served a notice in the name TMC MP and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee's wife and sister-in-law Sunday in connection with a case of alleged coal pilferage.
Earlier in the day, the CBI issued a notice to Banerjee's wife Rujira, asking her to join the probe in the case.
