Activist Sudhir Katiyar said it is saddening that a regime could stoop so low to destroy lives, but heartening that one of the pillars of the constitutional setup is standing firm.
The three accused were arrested in May last year in connection with the riots in north east Delhi.
Narwal and Kalita were arrested in May 2020 for allegedly being part of a premeditated conspiracy behind the communal violence that broke out in northeast Delhi in February that year.
The court said the supplementary charge sheet should be supplied to all the accused persons in pen drive and put up the matter for further hearing on March 12.
Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat, in his order passed on Thursday, said the allegations against Kalita prima facie seem to be true.
