A six-member Central team returned to Delhi on Tuesday after a two-day visit to the state to take stock of the ground situation.
Through ‘Boat ki Pathshala,’ they reach the fully inundated Singhala tola of Manihari sub-division to teach such children. Around 40 children studying from class 1 to 10, get free tutorials.
Residents of north Bihar’s 11 flood-hit districts are struggling to find dry land to cremate or bury the dead. In many areas, floodwaters have risen to the waist level.
The CM said that works being done on the embankments will help in preventing any miseries in flood-prone areas.
