The incident has come to light days after another minor was sexually assaulted and brutally injured by a man in outer Delhi and is still in a critical condition at AIIMS.
The police had on Thursday evening arrested an accused in connection with the sexual assault and attack on the 12-year-old girl in Paschim Vihar in New Delhi.
On Tuesday, the minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unidentified man when she was alone at her home in west Delhi.

The minor was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital where a team of doctors referred her to AIIMS after evaluating her grievous injuries.
The accused has been arrested and identified as Rajendra Singh, who is a resident of Kalyanpuri area and is a court staff.
The court noted that the accused has produced a birth certificate of the girl which showed her to be born in June 2000.
