In response to a recent letter from Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia said IndiGo airline will operate three flights in a week on the Bhubaneswar-Jaipur route.
However, the VC said the biggest roadblock for expansion plans is the lack of infrastructure.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said steps should be taken to promote Odia language in Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh as per the values enshrined in National Education Policy-2020.
"Odisha and Andhra Pradesh share common cultures and multiple interests relating to the promotion of native languages of the respective states in the border villages," he stated.
In a separate letter, Pradhan requested his Cabinet colleague for the setting up of 12 new dispensaries at locations proposed by the State government.
Pradhan said the move will encourage students from Odisha especially those from rural areas as they will now be able to pursue engineering courses in their mother tongue.
He stated that a large number of people of the constituency whose houses were severely damaged by the cyclone are still waiting for housing assistance under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Meanwhile, two former senior leaders of BSP -- Lalji Verma and Ram Achal Rajbhar -- met Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
He assured all support of the Union Government and his availability for facilitating an amicable environment for bilateral talks and peaceful resolution of the dispute.
