The elephant (Hari) got separated from its herd comprising five elephants on Thursday night and strayed into the outskirts of the village this morning.
Commanding Officer of the Narengi Military Station said the frequency of the “attacks” had increased in the last six months resulting in losses of around Rs 15 lakh.
