Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy blamed the party’s leadership in the State and questioned the selection of the candidate.
Section 144 has been imposed outside the polling booths and police have made foolproof arrangements to prevent any untoward incidents.
However, some TRS leaders cited the Election Commission of India’s advisory issued on October 21 as the reason for change of plans.
The PILs have been filed by Mallepalli Laxmaian, a social worker belonging to Hyderabad, Dr A Chandra Sekhar, a former minister, and Bukka Judson, belonging to Golconda area in Musheerabad.
Urging the people to put an end to the anti-democratic rule of TRS, the BJP leader stated that the government will stop implementing all newly initiated schemes soon after the byelection.
The ECI did not announce any date for the Huzurabad bypoll.
Even after recovery, BJP strongman Eatala Rajender won’t be able to resume the padayatra immediately, sources said.
According to sources, BJP leader BL Santosh asked party leaders why they were not displaying the same enthusiasm in other Assembly constituencies as in the case of Huzurabad.
Though TRS can easily win the polls, the problem is there are too many aspirants for the six seats within the party.
