While the coronavirus pandemic has hit the employment sector hard, IT companies in the state are on a hiring spree.
According to senior company executives of major IT firms, reopening offices will depend on various factors such as the vaccination status of employees, criticality of the work and location.
IT professionals, as well as other professionals employed in the IT Parks along the ORR Road, have tagged IT Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan on social media with newspaper clippings of the issue.
The advisory urged IT companies to extend the WFH option till December 2022 and/or IT companies to stagger the work hours for those employees working physically at office.
