He also said that after taking the two doses, people can take the third dose after six months of the second dose as a booster dose.

The active cases comprise 1.21 per cent of the total infections, the lowest since March 2020, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate stands 97.45 per cent, the Health Ministry said.
