An investigation has also revealed that Chandrashekar had a proper office inside the prison with a television, sofa, carpet etc. It appeared like his office and not jail, said a police officer.
At the request of Jacqueline's lawyer, the court granted interim bail to Jacqueline on a bail bond of Rs 50,000. The next date of hearing is October 22 this year.
Ellawadi’s questioning came days after Fernandez was quizzed in the case for the second time, they said.
Interrogation with Fernandez majorly involved questions related to gifts accepted by Jacqueline. Police also questioned the actor regarding the chartered flight ride booked by conman Sukesh for her.
This is the second time that she has been summoned for questioning by Delhi Police for her alleged role in the case.
"Though the agency had questioned Fatehi for six to seven hours on September 2 and recorded her statement, she is being further interrogated as there are 'certain unanswered questions'," officer said.
Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said the actor was grilled about her alleged role in the multi-crore money laundering case linked to Chandrashekhar and about the gifts she took.
She was given a long questionnaire including 100 questions that officers said mostly pertained to her relationship with Sukesh Chandrashekhar & gifts she received from him.
Earlier this month, another Bollywood actor, Norah Fatehi, was questioned by the agency got six to seven hours in the case and her statement was recorded.
