Exotic knob-billed ducks, also known as African comb ducks, have been found for the first time in the Kawal Tiger Reserve under Utnoor Forest division of erstwhile Adilabad district.
FDO Jannaram S Madhav Rao briefed the participants about the Reserve and its management and also the ‘Dos and Don’ts’ during bird watching.
According to officials, the programme will start on February 12 at 11 am with registration followed by the introduction of participants.
