Sources said Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) had received a positive response after at least 180 women were recruited as conductors in Mo Bus.

A number of such cases have also been reported earlier. Earlier in March, a passenger had complained that he was robbed of Rs 50,000 while travelling in a Mo Bus on the Jagatpur-Baramunda route.
The application these days reportedly also does not show correct timing of arrival of the buses at the stops, alleged another passenger who commutes in Mo Bus from Sainik School area regularly.
Sources said some of the passengers found the driver driving the bus erratically and dangerously, but none of them initially dared to confront him.
At the board meeting chaired by development commissioner Anu Garg, it was decided to immediately start the service in the district.
Participants during the discussion also raised issues pertaining to UPI payment, ground ticketing system and plying of less number of buses on certain routes.
