The number of contacts traced per positive cases on an average remained only up to seven to 10 per contact, said a report on the revised strategy for COVID-19 control in Delhi.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has submitted its report prepared under the guidance of expert group chairman and NITI Aayog member Dr V K Paul.
The two-member teams will comprise a community medicine expert from PGIMER, Chandigarh and an epidemiologist from the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The plan includes complete house-to-house screening to be conducted in containment zones by June 30 and for the rest of city by July 6.
The Indian Council of Medical Research and the National Centre for Disease Control will collaborate with key stakeholders for the survey at 10 health facilities (6 public and 4 private).
