The makers of Janhit Mein Jaari are planning a sequel. The film, starring Nushrratt Bharuccha, was released in theatres on June 10.
"Going forward, Bharuccha has an interesting line-up of films waiting to release in the coming months -- from "Ram Setu" with Akshay Kumar to the sequel to "Chhorii".
Paritosh also revealed that he was the first choice for this role. “The makers did many auditions for this role."
Janhit Mein Jaari is the story of Manokamna, played by Nushrratt Bharuccha. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama (1 &2) actor plays a feminist woman on a mission to become independent.

The actor believes the performance of the upcoming Raaj Shaandilyaa-production will define the degree of change in society.
"Selfiee" marks the second collaboration between Bharuccha and Akshay Kumar after their upcoming feature "Ram Setu".
The film stars Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
Directed by Raj Mehta of "Good Newwz" fame, the film is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam-language comedy-drama "Driving Licence".
Nushrratt shared a video on social media celebrating the wrap with her crew.
The sequel, tentatively titled Chhorii 2, will pick up from the end of the first film.
Recently, a report in an online portal claimed the project had run into some financial troubles, which the makers have denied.

The filming schedule will now commence again on November 27, after the mandatory two-week quarantine for everyone present on the sets, and the film will be completed by December 12.
