Loisingha police nabbed three miscreants after a 20km chase on Sunday. The trio was trying to flee on a motorcycle after robbing two brothers at gunpoint in Kushang village on Sunday.
The Hyderabad city police on Sunday arrested a temporary driver of a GHMC garbage vehicle for robbing a jewellery store in Secunderabad’s Pot Market.
The businessman and his family had gone to Bengaluru on January 14 when the robbers struck, the police said.
The accused were identified as Vikash Matari (27) of Sanharapara; Ashok Rana (34) and Susanta Bhue (32) of Beheratikra, all from Bargarh town.
The quartet's attempt to rob the jewellery shop was unsuccessful, and they fled from the spot soon after.
The trio, under the pretext of converting $6,000, called over Faisal, owner of a money exchange firm, to the hotel.

Later, with an intention to steal the money, he reached the bank after midnight.
Unidentified miscreants stole five kg silver ornaments from a temple at Kotha Gudi Centre under One Town police station limits on Friday.
The accused entered the bank at around 12.45 am on December 16 by breaking the locks, but failed to open the lockers.
Naik said police had detained the accused persons on Monday and during interrogation, they admitted to their involvement in the robbery.
