Enough is enough, attempts to undermine CM's authority should end: Ex-Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar
After Sidhu had resigned as the Punjab Congress chief, Jakhar had then taken a veiled dig at the former cricketer and had said, "It's just not cricket!."
'This bold decision, though very much rooted in the ethos of Sikhism, is nevertheless a watershed moment not only for the polity but also for the social fabric of the state,' Sunil Jakhar said.
The former Punjab Congress chief expressed concern over the party cadre's 'inability' to fully leverage a major government decision like doubling of social security pension.
His comments is nothing short of openly admitting that Congress directed the farmers to protest at the Delhi Border.
This resolution will then be sent to Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Apart from the Opposition, several Congress leaders, including state party president Sunil Jakhar, had questioned the government decision.
Jakhar also alleged that businessmen close to the government had got their companies registered in the Bombay Stock Exchange just days before the deal was clinched.
