The Madras High Court has directed the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) to remove even the last bit of debris dumped on the Kosasthalaiyar river.

When contacted, the Chief Engineer of the Ennore SEZ project denied the claims of the activists, saying there was no deviation in the alignment. "The allegations are baseless and unfounded," he said.
