Telangana reported 474 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the Statewide tally to 2,85,939 cases.
The number of UK returnees has been the highest in Hyderabad district with over 400 travellers, followed by Rangareddy with over 200.
It is anticipated that initially the supply of vaccine will be limited in view of huge demand, and hence, prioritisation of high-risk groups is needed for vaccination, according to the GO.
However, with the number of recoveries slightly more than the daily count, active cases stood at 12,615.
A total of 1,607 patients recovered from Covid-19 while 948 fresh cases were detected in Telangana on Wednesday.
The less number of tests in Telangana can be attributed to both staff being unavailable and patients not coming forward to get tested in light of the festivities over the weekend.

Telangana detected just 1,421 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday as the State conducted only 38,484 tests.

The State currently has 28,620 active cases of Covid-19 and 23,372 patients are in home isolation.
The bulletin also stated that there are currently 4,490 oxygen beds and 922 ICU beds available for Covid care in government hospitals across the State.
Speaking to the media, Director of Public Health Dr G Srinivasa Rao said that Telangana has seen a steady decline in the number of cases in the last two month even with increased testing rates.
Telangana recorded 2,072 new cases of Covid-19 and nine more deaths from the highly contagious disease on Monday, taking the tally to 1,89,283 and toll to 1,116.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the State now stands at 1,85,833, the toll at 1,100 and the active cases at 30,234, of which 24,607 are in home isolation.
The TRS leader, referring to the Centre’s reply in Parliament that it had released only Rs 290.29 crore to Telangana as against the BJP state leader’s claim that the amount was Rs 7,000 crore.
