While all those above 60 are being administered the vaccine in some PHCs, in others, only those who have crossed the age of 60 and are with comorbidities are being vaccinated.
So far, the State has administered 1.45 crore first doses and 55 lakh second doses.
Those belonging to the “high risk, high exposure groups” would be due for their second shot within the next 30-40 days.
As a precautionary measure, the Revenue officials have asked staffers to attend duties only after they get both the doses.
Of the new cases reported on Tuesday, the majority were from the GHMC areas.

As on May 15, the Centre’s supply pipeline to nine States is nil and Telangana is one among them.
The State has previously been allocated around 8.3 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines for the coming fortnight.
