The VCK has urged the State government to adopt a resolution in the Assembly to urge the Union Government to allow States to identify backward class people in their respective States.
VCK, a party which works for welfare of Dalits and DMK have got representation in the Assembly after a long gap and this time the former aims to make use of it and raise the issue.
Left parties said that the Centre has been increasing the prices of petroleum products instead of supporting the people who are suffering due to the pandemic situation.
He further urged the State government to appeal against the verdict.
