The State government has initiated steps to implement yet another promise under Navaratnalu to help the farming community.
The second installment of Rs 4000 each will be extended to the farmers in October to help them invest in rabi crop, followed by Rs 2000 each as 3rd installment on Sankranthi.
About 49 lakh families will benefit from the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme, under which the first installment would be credited into the farmers’ bank account ahead of the Kharif sowing season.
