The Uttarakhand government on May 15 floated a global tender for procurement of COVID-19 vaccine to vaccinate people in the state.
The condition for the supplier is that the total supply of 10 millions doses shall be completed within six months period from the issuance of Letter of Intent.
Meanwhile, Gehlot said several states were floating global tenders to procure vaccines due to lack of doses in the country.
The Cabinet pointed at the success of countries like Israel where a majority of people have been vaccinated.
"We will ensure that the state gets vaccines from foreign manufacturers in coordination with the Union government," Dy CM Pawar said.
