Unnao case: HC directs jail authorities to give treatment for oral cancer to Kuldeep Sengar's brother
Justice Vibhu Bakhru was informed that the convict, Atul Singh Sengar, has been diagnosed with oral cancer and requires extensive treatment.

District Judge Dharmesh Sharma directed both Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his brother Atul Singh Sengar to pay Rs 10 lakh each as compensation to the victim's family.
The Unnao rape survivor's father died in police custody after being beaten up by Sengar's men following an altercation.

The court also sought the victim's reply on Sengar's appeal challenging his conviction and imprisonment till remainder of his natural life.
A bench of justices Manmohan and Sangeeta Dhingra Sehgal allowed Sengar to deposit in 60 days the fine amount of Rs 25 lakh, out of which Rs 10 lakh will be released to the rape survivor.
Sengar challenged the December 20 verdict of a trial court here which had sentenced him to life imprisonment and had imposed an exemplary fine of Rs 25 lakh in the case.
The father of the rape survivor was framed in a case of illegal firearms possession and arrested on April 3, 2018.
The court had on Monday convicted the expelled BJP MLA for the rape of the woman in 2017, when she was a minor.
Shashi Singh, a co-accused along with expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the 2017 Unnao rape case was acquitted of all charges.
The CBI sought maximum punishment for Sengar, saying it was a fight for justice of an individual against the system.
