Jharkhand ropeway mishap: 2 dead, 18 rescued; rescue operation underway

At least 2 people were killed and several were injured in a cable-car collision at Trikut hills, #Jharkhand. The incident appears to have been caused by a technical snag, an official said, adding, that the exact cause is yet to be ascertained. The ropeway manager and other employees fled the spot after the incident. Two airforce choppers have arrived for evacuation. Personnel of ITBP, Indian Army, Indian Air Force and NDRF also reached the spot for the rescue operation.
