Tension prevails at University of Hyderabad over rape bid on foreign student

Students of Hyderabad University took to protests inside the campus on Dec 3 over allegations of sexual assault by a professor. The student in her early 20s was a foreign national from Thailand. She immediately filed a complaint with the police saying she was molested by Ravi Ranjan, a professor in the Dept of Hindi.
