Cyclone "Mandous": Red alert in 13 TN districts, heavy rain predicted; flights cancelled in Chennai

Cyclone Mandous, currently present over southwest Bay of Bengal, moved west-northwestwards with a speed of 13 kmph in the past 6 hrs. "Mandous is likely to weaken into a cyclonic storm in the following three hours," Chennai Meteorological Centre said in a statement.
