Karnataka: Tension in Shivamogga after Bajrang Dal activist murder; security stepped up

A youth was brutally murdered in the city on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Harsha, a Bajrang Dal activist. Sources said that a gang of four to five persons murdered the man at Bharathi Colony at around 9 pm.

Following the incident, tension prevailed across the city and police deployed forces in all the sensitive areas in the city.
