Seventh hike in eight days, petrol prices now dearer by Rs 5 per litre

Fuel prices continue to rise, with prices of petrol and diesel on Tuesday further hiked by 80 paise and 70 paise per litre respectively, becoming dearer by almost Rs 5 a litre after seven revision in rates in eight days.
