11 die of heatstroke at Maharashtra Bhushan Award ceremony, over 100 ill

At least 11 people died of heat stroke while attending the Maharashtra Bhushan Award ceremony at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. More than 120 people suffered from heat-related health issues, said officials. Over 20 people are still undergoing treatment at the MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai.
