9 killed,10 injured after militant attack in Manipur; curfew timings extended

In a fresh attack by suspected militants, at least 9 people were killed and 10 injured in a village in the Khamenlok area of ethnic-clash hit Manipur. According to police, the suspected militants were carrying sophisticated weapons. They surrounded the villagers of the Khamelok area which shares border with Imphal East district and Kangpoki district and launched the attack at around 1 am on June 14.
