Thick smoke engulfs industrial area as massive fire breaks out in Kolkata factory

On the early hours of Friday, July 12, Kolkata woke up to visuals of a blaze at a vest manufacturing unit and warehouse in Dumdum area. No injuries were reported from the fire that broke out around 3 AM at Nagerbazar on Jessore Road. At least 30 fire tenders were deployed to douse the flames in a seven-hour operation.
