June 6 marks the birth centenary of noted educationist, physicist, freedom fighter, and rationalist H Narasimhaiah. Fondly known as HN, he was a learner, freedom fighter, teacher, physicist, rationalist, and educationist – and he played all these roles with equal aplomb.
