UK PM Rishi Sunak defends PM Modi over controversial BBC series; MEA slams BBC documentary

Defending PM Modi in the British Parliament, UK PM Rishi Sunak distanced himself from the BBC documentary series, saying he "doesn't agree with the characterization" PM Modi. Sunak made these remarks on the controversial documentary that was raised in the British Parliament by Pakistan-origin MP Imran Hussain. BBC released a docu-series called India: The Modi Question, the first episode of which was aired on Jan 17th and was removed from YouTube on Jan 18th.
