A Chinese man stabbed to death his wife and two other couples, all relatives, following a family dispute here, police said.
The suspect named Yuan Zhiwei killed all five people in the city's suburban Minhang district Monday night, Shanghai Daily reported Tuesday.
His neighbours said family dispute might be the cause of the man's killing spree that took place in three separate spots within a span of three hours.
One middle-aged couple was found lying unconscious in a pool of blood by their son. Both had been stabbed several times.
