No secret deal with US on NATO route reopening: Khar

Pakistan has not entered into any secret agreement with the US on reopening the NATO supply routes to Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said Wednesday.

Pakistan has not entered into any secret agreement with the US on reopening the NATO supply routes to Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said Wednesday.

The routes were closed following the NATO air strike at the Salala border post of the Pakistan Army last November, in which 24 soldiers were killed.

The foreign minister said the NATO supply routes were reopened but a "superpower had to back down", Geo News reported.

Pakistan will continue talks with the US over drone attacks, but a message of not crossing the red line had been conveyed to Washington, Khar said.
