BUENOS AIRES: Visiting United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and held talks on ways to enhance bilateral relations.

The two leaders, who met Thursday in the Argentine capital, also discussed the prospects of increasing investment in both countries.

The Argentine president commended the Emirates group for operating flights to Argentina that will help in trade and tourism between the two countries.

Sheikh Abdullah also met Vice President Amado Boudou and Foreign Minister Hector Timerman.
