Seven killed in Iraq blasts

At least seven people were killed and over 25 wounded in two car bomb blasts in an Iraqi town Thursday, Xinhua reported.

The blasts occurred in Sunni-dominated Salahudin province.

A car bomb detonated in the centre of Al-Dujail town, some 60 km from Baghdad. Minutes later, another car exploded targeting security forces and civilians gathered at the first blast's site.

The attack came a day after a series of massive bombings and shootings in northern and central parts of Iraq which killed 31 people and wounded over 250.
