Ten people, including six terrorists, were killed and 150 injured as a group of suicide bombers attacked a security installation in central Afghanistan Sunday, an official said. A gunfight was still on at the site.
The attack took place in Maidan Shahr of Wardak province Sunday afternoon, reported Xinhua.
According to a government spokesperson, a suicide bomber blew up his explosives-laden car next to the gate of the national intelligence agency to enable the other assailants enter, but the security personnel returned the fire, killing five of the attackers.
Four security personnel were also killed in the firefight, he said.
The injured civilians, including women and children, were taken to hospitals.
