Egypt recalled Saturday its ambassador to Tunisia Ayman Mesharrafa, in response to a speech by Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki at the UN General Assembly, Xinhua reported.
During his speech, Marzouki had called on Egypt to release its "political prisoners".
