PESHAWAR: The members of Pakistan's Hindu community, who were displaced due to ongoing military operation in North Waziristan, today asked authorities to stop step motherly treatment towards them and provide them relief packages and other facilities given to other IDPs.

The demand was made by President of Hindu Minority Sabha Miran Shah Tariq Das while talking to newsmen at a relief camp in Bannu district.

He said that step motherly treatment should be stopped with them and they should be equally treated like other IDPs.

He said we are as loyal to the Pakistan as others.

He said they were told by the administration that camp for minority IDPs has been setup in centennial memorial school Bannu but due to lack of space there, now they have been shifted to memorial school in Bannu cantonment

He alleged that minority IDPs are being deprived of the relief packages and other facilities. Similarly welfare organisation were also not extending any help and assistance to this effect, Das added.

Around 350 to 400 Hindus have been displaced due to the operation in North Waziristan.
