NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee today extended greetings to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the occasion of "Day of Russia" to be celebrated tomorrow.
In his message, the President said he was honoured to participate in the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War and was "happy to have the opportunity of wide-ranging discussions with you on our bilateral relations".
"I would also like to reiterate my deep appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to me and to my delegation during the visit," the President said in his message.
