At least three killed in shooting at Walmart store in Thornton, Colorado; no arrests made yet

Thornton police tweeted Wednesday night they were responding to a shooting with "multiple parties down." The police advised people to stay away from the area.

DENVER: Two men and a woman were killed in a shooting inside a suburban Walmart in Colorado's Thornton city on Wednesday night that forced customers to either hide or flee. 

The men died at the store, and the woman died at a hospital.

No arrests have been announced, and a call to the Thornton Police Department went unanswered.

According to TV news reports, two suspects are down. The shooter is still believed to be at large.

Thornton police tweeted Wednesday night they were responding to a shooting with "multiple parties down." The police advised people to stay away from the area. Dozens of police cars and emergency vehicles converged at the store.

Meanwhile, special agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were helping police in the investigation.
