American India Foundation has raised USD 300,000 to support its William J Clinton Fellowship for Service in India.​

WASHINGTON: American India Foundation has raised USD 300,000 to support its William J Clinton Fellowship for Service in India.

A fundraiser in this regard was held over the weekend in a Maryland suburb of Washington DC, which was attended by the Indian Ambassador to the US, Navtej Sarna and others.

The AIF Clinton Fellowship is a volunteer service programme matching young professionals from the US and India with development organisations and social enterprises across India.

Fellows support organisations at a crucial moment of scalability through collaboration, capacity building and skill sharing.

The AIF Clinton Fellowship is creating lasting ties between the US and India by strengthening the development sector and equipping the next generation of leaders to advance positive social change.

Fellows and the organisations they serve are committed to empowering the lives of marginalised communities in India.
