BENGALURU: LifeTide, a collective that works to conserve water, and the Bangalore Film Society will conduct the third edition of LifeTide Water Festival in Bengaluru on April 22, between 10 am and 6 pm.
Titled ‘Voices from the Waters’, the fest will be held at Bangalore Film Society.

The first half of the film fest will screen movies around this theme. Simar Kohli, founder of LifeTide, says, ”We are hoping to involve people from all walks of life through films. We want to address water-related challenges and also discuss lake rejuvenation, protection of water resources and creating an abundance of water.”

George Kutty, Secretary of Bangalore Film Society, will be curating the event. He has been involved with the film fest since 2005.

The first two editions of the LifeTide Water Festival included a mixed-media arts exhibition and a workshop to come up with a masterplan for renewal of Bengaluru lakes.  Registrations can be done via Facebook page or email id- team.lifetide@gmail.com
