Telepathy, a new way to talk to your furry friends!

Here’s a Reiki healer who can connect with animals

CHENNAI: Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of your little critter? Well, Sanjuktha M, does! An animal reiki healer who also telepathically communicates with animals, all Sanjuktha needs is a photograph of your pet and a little background and she is good to go!
How she got into it is a funny story. One of her dogs (she has five, and seven cats!) told her communicator at the time, that ‘my mumma can talk to us’. This got her exploring and soon she found herself talking to animals.
“Telephathic communication is universal, but we tend to block it out. It’s just an exchange of thoughts that happens very fast,” she says. It is an emotionally moving process, when somebody opens up to you and shares with you their story.

Sanjukhta gives us the lowdown on how it works. “The thought or the emotion gets converted to a language we understand. Everyone has their strengths,” she explains, adding that some people can even taste and smell what they feel and think.

The healer had a lot of stories to share, some heartbreaking and some amusing. “I once connected with a dog whose pups were snatched away from her,” she recalls. “The pain was unbearable. I was far away from her physically but couldn’t stop crying.”
Ever wondered why your dog suddenly barks at an open space? Apparently, animals can see what we don’t — but it isn’t always scary. “They can see angels and fairies, but it could also be something as small as an insect that isn’t visible to the human eye!”

People with unrealistic expectations burden the process. “The energies of a hostile environment effect my way of working. When an animal is stressed out, you can only guide them. I cannot tell them to wait at a certain location or force them to do anything,” she opines.
Getting her Level Two certification of Reiki, she opines that it’s all about rediscovering an innate part of yourself. “When you have the intention, you become more aware of everything around you. It’s important to be grounded, open your heart and respect the other beings’ personal space,”
she asserts.

It’s also helpful to read the works of other communicators. Sanjuktha follows Penelope Smith, Nancy Windheart, and Laura Stinchfield, among several others, and how they have gone about the process. Sanjuktha does not advertise her skills but she has become quite popular through word of mouth and also through her Facebook page, Gaia Mitra.
