City gets smart campus for skill development

HYDERABAD: “Talent Sprint” is aiming to train and impart employable skills to about one million graduates over the next five years and it is betting on technology driven digital platforms to achieve this target.
Talent Sprint has earned reputation as one of the dependable training institutes for imparting employable skills to graduates and as part of scaling up, it launched a smart campus in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

“About 10 million youth are graduating from colleges every year in India and most of them lack employability skills. There is a need for scaling up in skilling, if this huge number of youth are to be made job ready and employed. This can be done only through using technology and digital platforms in training. The new smart campus is equipped with digital, mobile and cloud integration facility, and by using this any number of graduates can be trained online simultaneously,” Santanu Paul, CEO of Talent Sprint said.

The smart campus has a seating capacity of 500 and the management aims to depend on online platform to achieve the target of skilling one million graduates.
The smart campus is also equipped with Test Improvement Advisor (Tia), an artificial intelligence bot, to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of an individual job seeker and provide them personal guidance.
Talent Sprint has trained about 1,10,324 graduates till now and is reputed for imparting employability skills for job seekers in IT sector and banking. But it is also focusing on imparting training to job seekers in government sector.
