HYDERABAD: Breaching the sanctity of intimate moments with his wife, a man from Hyderabad live-streamed sessions of them having sex, to another man in Chennai through Skype.
The man, a digital marketing executive working in Hyderabad, was arrested. The accused and his online friend both shared each other’s intimate moments with their respective wives, through the online application without their knowledge, police said.
The incident came to light after the wife of the accused found her naked pictures and videos on her husband’s phone shared with a Chennai man.
This is the second such incident, as just a few days ago a person from Hyderabad was arrested for live-streaming intimate moments with his wife for money.
The victim living in Shameerpet was married to the marketing executive a year ago. Since their wedding day, he has been harassing her for his pleasure; he used to take pictures and videos without her consent using his mobile phone. Whenever she tried to check what he was doing with the material, he would keep the phone away and not let her access it.
“Around four days ago, the woman forcibly took the mobile phone from him and found vulgar messages and her pictures with abusive chats accompanying them sent from and to a stranger. Her husband captured videos during their intimate moments and also of her bathing and shared them with one Sriman Deepak of Chennai. The accused also used to live stream intimate moments from his laptop through Skype. Disturbed by this, the woman lodged a complaint,” Cyberabad DCP (Crimes) Janaki Sharmila said.
The accused was habituated to chatting online for a long time. About 20 days ago, he met a person by the name Sriman in a chatroom and they exchanged their Skype account details.
“After exchanging their personal information, they both came to an understanding and exchanged semi-nude and naked photos of their wives through Skype. They both live-streamed intimate moments without their wives’ knowledge. The accused from Hyderabad also captured photos of his wife while bathing, sleeping, changing clothes and having sex with him and shared them through Skype. He also captured his sister-in-law’s pictures and sent them to Sriman,” the officer said, adding that the accused has been arrested and sent to judicial remand with immediate effect and that his mobile phone and laptop had been seized for investigation.
The DCP said a team would be visiting Chennai to apprehend Sriman for further investigation and the seized material would be sent to Forensic Sciences Laboratory for analysis.
