It was a day of calculations for all the major candidates in Ernakulam. Additions and subtractions on strongholds, the key figures at certain pockets and last-minute discussions constituted their Wednesday.
On the eve of the Lok Sabha polls, BJP candidate A N Radhakrishnan was in a relaxed mood. Taking a day off after the high-voltage campaign for the past couple of weeks, Radhakrishnan spent his time with supporters.
On Wednesday, Radhakrishnan visited Justice V R Krishna Iyer at his house to seek his blessings. Around 3.30 pm he went to meet Justice Iyer along with BJP leader C G Rajagopal.
Justice Iyer wished him success as in the polls while adding that it’s essential for the country to have Narendra Modi coming to the helm.
On Thursday, Radhakrishnan will cast his vote at Cheranalloor Kacheripady Al Farooqa High School around 8 am.
He will got to the polling booth along with wife Ambika and daughter Abhirami, a first year BCom student at SH College Thevara, who will be casting her debut vote.
The candidate will have darshan at Edappally Ganapathi temple, Cheranalloor Bhagvathi temple and Kothad temple before going to the polling booth.
