Choice School wins Kerala region Aqua Regia Science Quiz

KOCHI: Madhav Pramod and Anirudh P S of Choice School, Tripunithura have emerged winners in the Kerala Region Finals of the ‘Aqua Regia Science Quiz’ organised by the Triumphant Institute of Management Education (T.I.M.E.) which saw the participation of more than 20,000 students from among 100 schools in the Kochi City Prelims.  

Sahil P Nair and K Adithya Krishna of Tripunithura Chinmaya Vidyalaya emerged first runners-up while Paul Philip Mathew and Devraj R of Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Eroor were the second runners-up. The winning team will represent the Kerala region in the national finals of Aqua Regia which will be held in Hyderabad on December 5, 2017.

According to Ajay Antony, the quiz master & vice president T.I.M.E., the response for the quiz has always been great from the city. “The quality of finalists from across India also is high making it difficult to predict who will come out on top, it makes the finals even more interesting,” he said. “Aqua Regia encourages school students who look beyond textbooks for learning science and to understand the practical applications of science,” he said. Since its inception in 2006, Aqua Regia – The Science Quiz has evolved into the most popular Inter-School Science Quiz in India.
